his martial arts career in Judo at age 8. Black Belt International
recently issued Mr Armstrong with an award for Dedication &
Commitment to Martial Arts to mark over 25 years involvement in
martial arts training. Mr Armstrong has had trainings in Ninjutsu,
Jujutsu, Judo, Taekwondo, Boxing, Kick Boxing, Karate, Kung Fu,
To-Shin Do, and Geoff 'Tank' Todd's Military Close Quarter Battle
system. He also has NVQ equivalent qualifications in Senior
Coaching, Instructor, Child Protection, Health & Safety,
and
First Aid.

Sensei
Ryan Lloyd has over 15 years martial arts experience in Ninjutsu,
Judo, Tai Chi, Kung Fu and other mixed martial arts styles, and has
Nightclub Security experience. Mr Lloyd is the overall club
assistant instructor and co-founder of Mu Te Shin Dojo's Bristol.
He is CRB Certified, our lead fitness advisor and is currently
pursuing qualifications in Child Protection, Health & Safety, Senior
Coaching, Instructor and First Aid certifications through MASTARR
and the British National Martial Arts Association.

Sensei
Vicky Armstrong began her training at age 12 in Japanese Karate
achieving first degree black belt in less than 3 years. Mrs
Armstrong has extensive competition experience in both kumite and
forms style competition and was 9 times Higashi National Champion, British Championship runner up,
EKGB Championship runner up and fought as a member of the
England squad with an
overall career that included a total of 26 first, 12 second, and 11
third placing's at national competition level. Also qualified in Sports Acrobatic Gymnastics
to Senior Club Coach level Mrs Armstrong provides valuable
input into competitive
and demonstration style training and is responsible
for much of the behind the scenes work that goes into the club.

Instructor Levels Explained
Level 1
Assist level 3 or above instructors but
are not authorised to teach or run clubs.
Level 2
Are authorised to teach classes under
guidance of Level 3 instructors, but are not authorised to
run clubs.
Level 3
Authorised to run their own club and are
allowed to recommend Level 1 and Level 2 promotions.
Level 3 instructors may assist in gradings ceremonies but
are not authorized to award gradings.
Level 4
Run a club and also award student
promotion but not instructor level promotions.
Level 5
Headmaster currently held by
Robert Armstrong. Only Level 5 Instructors can issue
instructor level certification.
